Why I became a human rights defender? Perhaps, it could not be differently. I am convinced that a man is born noble, that his rights and freedoms are of the highest value. In my work, I often come across violations of human rights, sometimes quite gross violations. I try to use my experience and knowledge, legal provisions in order to restore the broken rights. I can see how the situation in our country is changing. How practicing lawyers change the jurisprudence, how the legislation is getting improved, how the attitude of the State is changing towards its citizens. This is the work of human rights defnders, which is very difficult, sometimes dangerous, but effective work.
