Dear friends, partners and colleagues, we are pleased to announce the launch of the project "Promoting Human Rights and Accountability in Tajikistan's Detention Facilities gender-sensitive: Research, Dialogue, and Advocacy"

Project funded by Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI). Implemented by the Public Organisation “The World of Law” Embassy of Canada to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan

The goal of the project is to prevent Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) and torture within places of detention in Tajikistan.

Project activities:

•  conducting research on human rights violations
•  strengthening the capacity of civil society
•  effective cooperation between NGOs and the state through dialogue
•  promotion of human rights
