Performance of the Coalition of the Civil Society against Torture and Impunity in Tajikistan for 2022

Please, be hereby informed on the operating results of the Coalition of the Civil Society against Torture and Impunity in Tajikistan for 2022.

Major operating results of the Coalition in 2022: Legal Assistance Unit of the Coalition has documented 19 torture and cruel treatment incident reports, rehabilitation services have been provided to 16 people, Media Group has published 379 materials, considerable advances have been made in improvement of the country’s penitentiary system performance, and Monitoring Unit has gained access to psychiatric facilities to conduct independent monitoring.

The Coalition of the Civil Society against Torture and Impunity in Tajikistan has been providing free legal and rehabilitative (medical and psychosocial) assistance.
