Strengthening professional skills in the investigation of cases of torture

Training sessions for prosecutors of the Republic of Tajikistan were concluded in Bokhtar, aimed at strengthening professional skills in the investigation of cases of torture and other forms of ill-treatment. The trainings were held on 15–16 January and form part of a broader programme to enhance the capacity of the justice system.

The training was organised by the PO “The World of Law” in partnership with the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Tajikistan within the framework of a European Union-funded project.

The programme focused on practical aspects of prosecutorial work, including procedural response mechanisms, inter-agency cooperation, and the application of international and national standards in the investigation of cases related to torture.
