1. When and where was the organization registered?

Public organization "ProBono Dejure" registered on March 16, 2022 in the Department of Justice of the Sughd region.

2. Purpose? (Mission?)

Supporting lawyers in improving their professional skills in providing legal assistance, strengthening their skills in analyzing the current legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan, facilitating access to legal assistance for vulnerable segments of the population.

3. Areas of activity.

• Defense of lawyers, including the development of a trained team of lawyers to defend lawyers, human rights defenders and civil society activists.
• Promotion of advanced training for lawyers through training in international mechanisms for the protection of human rights, human rights activities and increased analytical work.
• Conducting social-analytical monitoring and research on issues of advocacy and observance of human rights.
• Promoting access to legal assistance for persons serving sentences in prisons, detainees and arrestees, orphans in boarding schools and juvenile colonies, children with disabilities, women, people with disabilities, as well as other vulnerable groups of the population.
• Assistance in raising the status of women in the legal profession, explaining women's rights, disseminating the ideas of tolerance and non-discrimination.
